Real talk ☕️

This series was a huge shift for me. Years of experimenting, learning, and failing went into getting the artwork to this point.

It really feels like a marker of how far things have come and where they’re heading next.

Lots more planned this year. I’m just getting started.

🍃This series is about disconnecting from the constant noise of feeds, news and the algorithms to reconnect with the present.

I stopped focusing on the outcome and returned to the act of making the art. The process, the experiments, the mistakes. *That freedom reminded me that too much connection to the world around you, can slowly disconnect you from yourself. When you’re too aware of the audience, creating starts to feel like performance.

This series is about creating without that noise.

✨It looks simple…

But behind it all is years of refining, experimenting, failing and learning.

This series saw me approaching silkscreen as a painter, not a printmaker. This meant letting go of precision and leaning into the mistakes, accidents and imperfections. That’s only possible after years of refining the right way to do it.

It takes a few seconds to print the image, but years to get to that point.
