⚡ Join the Production Team for Grease! ⚡

Untold Stories Theatre is looking for enthusiastic Assistant Stage Managers and Running Crew members from Calgary and the surrounding area to join our production of Grease, directed by Leslie Han!

Whether you're an experienced stage manager or looking to gain hands-on theatre experience, we'd love to hear from you.

✨ Assistant Stage Manager

* Assist the Stage Manager with rehearsals, tech, performances, and strike.
* Act as the primary liaison between the cast and Stage Manager during performances.
* Help with rehearsal setup, blocking and choreography tracking, rehearsal videos, and other production needs.
* Attend auditions, rehearsals, load-in, tech week, performances, and strike.
* Must be 16 years of age or older.

✨ Running Crew

* Support the Stage Management team during rehearsals, tech, performances, and strike.
* Assist with rehearsal setup, tracking blocking and choreography, recording rehearsal videos, and backstage operations.
* Attend rehearsals, load-in, tech week, performances, and strike.
* Be prepared to step into Assistant Stage Manager duties if needed.
* Must be 16 years of age or older.

Key Dates
Rehearsals: August 9 – November 12, 2026
• Tuesdays & Thursdays: 7:00–10:00 PM
• Sundays: 1:00–5:00 PM

Tech Week: November 15–19, 2026
Attendance is required for all tech days.

Performances: November 20 – December 5, 2026
Availability for all performances is required.

Submissions close August 8, 2026.

⚡ Don't miss your chance to be a part of something incredible ⚡

Untold Stories Theatre is seeking more Male presenting performers in Calgary and the surrounding area aged 16+ with all backgrounds and experience levels to submit for Grease!

We are looking for the following roles:

ROGER
ENSEMBLE
ROGER UNDERSTUDY
DOODY UNDERSTUDY
ON STAGE SWING
BACKSTAGE SINGER

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Auditions will be held by online submissions.
All auditioners are asked to submit an unlisted YouTube link or a Google Drive link containing:
- A short introduction of yourself, including why you’d like to be a part of the show and what area of performance you’d like to grow in the most (singing, dancing, acting).
- For Roger, Ensemble, On-Stage Swing & Backstage Singer: Please prepare the provided song “Mooning” found on the audition page on our website.
- If you would like to be considered for the Doody understudy: please submit the above material (Mooning) as well as the selected cut of “Those Magic Changes” that can be found on the audition page on our website.

The deadline to submit your audition is Saturday July 11th, at 11:59 pm.

Auditioners may be required to attend a callback including a dance call and cold reads. This date will be determined closer to the deadline.
