Some of the best parts of the Fair aren’t found in the rides or attractions, but in the people who have been part of it for generations.

Since 1984, Charlie King has been the sound technician for the Brampton Fall Fair. That’s an incredible 42 years of helping bring the Fair to life.

For generations of Fairgoers, Charlie has worked behind the scenes to make sure the announcements were heard, the music played, and the shows went on. Along the way, he became much more than our Sound Technician, he became part of the family.

This year, however, marked the end of an era as Charlie retired from working at our Fair to remain closer to home.

So, to Charlie and his partner, Stan, thank you for 42 years of friendship, dedication, and service to the Brampton Fall Fair. You have been such an important part of our Fair family, and you will be greatly missed around the Fairgrounds.

We wish you both all the very best in this next chapter.

If you were there, you know that the Demolition Derby at this year’s Brampton Fall Fair was an incredible show. But what made it even more special was the opportunity to celebrate someone who has given so much to our Fair.

Merle Middlebrook is the Peel Agricultural Society’s longest active volunteer, with an incredible 58 years of service under her belt.

For Merle’s 80th birthday, she had just one wish: that those involved with the Fair would find what they love most about it and sponsor it.

From that special wish came an incredible $1,000 sponsorship in Merle’s name to the Figure 8 Class of the Demolition Derby, but that wasn’t the only special moment for Merle. She also had the honour of taking part in the opening lap of this year’s Demolition Derby!

Thank you, Merle, for everything you have given to the Peel Agricultural Society and the Brampton Fall Fair, and for reminding us to find what we love and support it

The 173rd Annual Brampton Fall Fair may be over, but we’re still feeling grateful for everyone who helped make this year's Fair such a special weekend.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Community Partners for their support and for helping us create opportunities for families to connect, learn, discover something new, and enjoy all that the Fair has to offer.

The 173rd Brampton Fall Fair may be over, but the memories will last a whole lot longer. ❤️

From agriculture and livestock to midway rides, incredible entertainment, delicious food, vendors, competitions, demonstrations and everything in between — what a weekend!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, participated, volunteered, exhibited, performed, sold, sponsored, supported and helped make this fair possible.
