Meet Terry.
At 83 years old, Terry still takes three buses every week to volunteer at Burnaby Central Railway.
He doesn't come for a paycheck. He comes because he loves trains, loves this community, and believes in keeping this tradition alive.
For more than 30 years, Burnaby Central Railway has been powered by dedicated volunteers who generously share their time, skills, and passion to create unforgettable experiences for families.
As Terry says:
"We're getting older. We need young people to take over."
