Last night, our members came together for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.

This Thanksgiving, we're especially grateful for all our dedicated volunteers and their contributions throughout the season.

It's the people behind the trains who make Burnaby Central Railway so special.

The Vancouver Toplink Model Railway Club is back at Rainbow Station with its portable model railway layout.

Come by and enjoy the trains, British-style scenes, and all the amazing little details.

🚂 A Closer Look at Our Garden Railway

Take a closer look at one of the most unique parts of Burnaby Central Railway, with Brian, Garden Railway Committee Chair.

Set within the garden, our G scale railway features trains powered in different ways — from track power and batteries to live steam.

Some can run all day, while a live steam locomotive may run for about 20 minutes at a time.

Small in scale, but full of real railway technology, craftsmanship, and character. 🌿🚂

🌿 The people behind our gardens

When you ride the miniature trains through the trees, across the bridges, and through the tunnels, you’ll see gardens along the way.

Our volunteers take care of these gardens. This summer, Sandy completed a new garden project and enjoyed bringing it to life.

Sandy and our other gardeners have volunteered with the club for many years. Their work keeps the park clean and beautiful for everyone who comes to ride the trains or enjoy a picnic. 💚
