Do you like to be scared? Do you like to be really scared for a good cause? Lake Manor in BURNABY is transformed every year into a ghoulish and frightening haunted house that will heighten your Halloween senses and scare you senseless. This will be our last year and we hope to raise awareness and funds for research for a little known and understood form of dementia called Lewy Body Dementia. Linked to Parkinson's disease, Lewy Body Dementia is progressive and eventually robs the individual of his/her physical and mental capacities. Robin Williams had Lewy Body and his despair over his decline in function drove him to suicide. Little is known about Lewy Body Dementia. More research is needed to discover better treatment and hopefully a cure.
