Our volunteers have been making the most of the warmer weather these last few weeks. The storage sidings down the side of the section house are coming together, and work has begun on the turntable/steam-up area!

This Saturday, May 27th, we will be hosting our friends from The Greater Vancouver Garden Railway Club. Be sure to come by to see all sorts of interesting trains running, including live steam!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in just over a week's time. We will be setup at the event all weekend with books and other various collection items for sale. Saturday March 18 & Sunday March 19 at the Railway Museum of BC in the spectacular mountainside setting of Squamish, BC. Model railway layouts in all scales, new and used trains to buy, build a wooden train, ride the min-rail, play RC cars, see the Royal Hudson #2860 and lots more! Train Show admission gets you a 50% off discount to the Museum when you visit us this Summer.

Our friends at The Greater Vancouver Garden Railway Club are hosting their annual swap meet this weekend. A few of us will be there with books and other items from our collection. Come down and say hi!

The GVGRC Swap Meet is this Saturday January 14 from 9:30am to 5pm at Art Knapp Surrey (4391 King George Blvd, Surrey)

Our Clubs mobile layout is also setup there and members will be running trains for your entertainment.

Today & tomorrow we will have a table set up at the Sea to Sky Model Train and Hobby Show 2022. Please drop by & visit us. We will have items from our collection of rolling stock & locomotives for sale, as well as books & magazines on all aspects of railways & model engineering. Hope to see you there!

Our 'Small Island' is home to five loops of 32mm gauge track. We have a variety of power configurations such that any 32mm gauge trains can be run, including center rail and both AC and DC power options. The trains may be slightly smaller in scale, but certainly no less impressive. Pictures courtesy of Gordon Hall.
