Where the Shadows Glow ✨🦢 22” x 30” Watercolor
We often think of swans as purely white, but when the light catches them from behind, something truly magical happens.
By painting this piece back-lit against a deep, moody background, the “white” feathers suddenly burst into a luminous symphony of golds, pinks, blues and soft violets. For me, this painting speaks of pure elegance and serenity—a reminder of the hidden beauty revealed when we look just past the surface.
Original watercolor mounted on a 1.5” black-sided gallery depth cradle board, ready to hang.

It’s almost time! 🎨 The 55th Annual DVSA Art Auction kicks off this Monday, April 6th. This is such a fantastic event with over 1,400 original works of art—including paintings, pottery, jewelry, and more—all supporting the Dundas Valley School of Art.

Here is everything you need to know to join in:
🗓 ONLINE BIDDING: Opens Monday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. and runs through Sunday, April 12.
🖼 IN-PERSON PREVIEWS: Stop by the school to see the work in person from Wednesday, April 8 to Saturday, April 11.
🔨 LIVE AUCTION NIGHT: Friday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. (In-person only, tickets required!)
