What a day! 🏺✨

Our very first One-Day Intensive at Studio717 was SO much fun!

A huge thank you to Monika Schaefer for being an amazing instructor and sharing her knowledge, creativity and love of clay. 🤎

Our participants learned a ton, got their hands dirty, tried both handbuilding and wheel throwing—and left with a whole new appreciation (and maybe a little obsession 😉) for clay!

More workshops & classes are happening at Studio717! 🎉

Curious about pottery but not ready to commit to a weeks-long classes? This one-day intensive is the perfect way to get your hands dirty, explore several pottery techniques, and discover whether working with clay is for you.

The morning will focus on hand building. You will learn hand building techniques and it will give you the opportunity to explore clay without a pottery wheel.

The afternoon will focus on the pottery wheel where you will learn the basics of preparing and centring clay, opening and forming the clay, pulling up the walls, creating a simple vessel, and controlling clay on the wheel.

This one day workshop is this coming Wednesday on September 30. Be sure to register, as spots are going quickly!
