The Arts, Culture and Heritage (ACH) Board was formed in December 2016 out of the existing Recreation, Parks and Culture Board. City Council felt that arts and culture were unique enough portfolios that they should be dealt with by a separate organization who could better focus on our existing strengths and gaps. Our goal is to promote arts, culture and heritage in the Newell Region and the use of

the facility, named "The Medium", to host events and activities that support arts, culture and heritage. For rental inquiries, please contact the JBS Canada Center at 403-362-3622.

Join us December 3rd, to Celebrate International Day of Persons with Different Abilities. The City of Brooks, The Arts, Culture, and Heritage Board, and REDI Enterprises invite you to the Inclusive Art Exhibit. Featuring local art, created by REDI Individuals sharing their experience, and perspectives on disabilities in our community.

The all-ages event will be held from 7-9 PM in Brooks at The Medium (511 – 2nd Street West). Light fare and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
