Dinner on the deck never tasted so good!

Final day of the Lunenburg Craft & Food Festival is in the books. While my sales might be a bit different from last year, my heart has never been fuller. This weekend reminded me that it’s not just about the business—it’s about the incredible connections we make.

From meeting wonderful new customers to sharing laughs with my talented neighbors and enjoying a delicious meal from the Salt Shaker paired with a lovelyAvondale Sky Winery winery, the community spirit here is unmatched.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by booth today to share a story or a smile. That’s what these shows are truly about for me. I’m already looking forward to next year!

I took some time today to visit one of my favourite towns. Lunenburg never disappoints! 💙

Did you know the Lunenburg Craft & Food Festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary on July 11 & 12? I’ll be there once again with Low-Tide Treasures!

I’ll have two Nova Scotia icons with me—the Bluenose and my rendition of Peggy’s Cove —along with many of my other ocean-inspired creations.

Earlier this week my mind needed a reset.

Instead of reaching for weights, I reached for my kayak and headed out onto the LaHave River in the early morning.

The calm water, blue sky, and the early morning sun were exactly what I needed. It reminded me of one of my affirmation cards!

While creating one of my ocean-inspired resin hearts, I noticed something unexpected. The side I see while pouring the resin looks wild and untamed. The side revealed when I remove it from the mold looks calm and peaceful.

Same heart. Same materials. Different perspective.

It made me wonder how often that happens in life. Sometimes what we see depends on where we’re standing.
