Since then he's been hustling the GTA comedy scene to become one of the city's best up and comers

He came runner up in Sirius XM'S Next Top Comic, he headlined a show at JFL42 and has appeared on JFL All Access on Comedy Central.

His comedy touches on his ridiculous life living abroad and his perception of more serious matters like race, relationship and drugs. Always finding the an absurd angle to creat a fresh a hilarious perspective.

Hi guys! Got a good one for you this week with Headliner Dave Getachew

Dave Allegedly started his comedy career plucked out of obscurity as a small african child by a crazed Dave Chappelle. Some how they took the wrong flights and Dave Getachew ended up in Canada. Chappelle said over Skype figure out comedy in Canada and then come see me.

Dave has opened for Letterkenny’s K. Trevor Wilson, WWE’s Jake the Snake Roberts, and Canadian legends Gavin Stephens and Kenny Robinson. He has been performing all around Ontario and is coming to NV this week!

Hey Brantford!

We’ve got an awesome show this week with headliner Gerry Hall.

Taking the stage for the first time in 2008 at the tender age of 41, Gerry Hall won a competition he didn’t even know he was in at his first ever amateur night and became a finalist in the Great Canadian Laugh Off for Hamilton, Ontario; repeating as a finalist again the next year.

Since then he has been a finalist in the Brantford’s Rising Stars contest, London’s Last Laugh competition, Toronto’s Your Hood’s a Joke, and Brampton’s Funniest Comic. Over the last year, he has performed at JFL42 in Toronto, written for JFL Montreal, won Brampton’s Last Line Standing contest and Hamilton Yuk Yuks ‘Go Yuk Yourself’ contest.

Gerry has established a reputation as a clever joke writer, savage roast performer, and has had his work featured on iChannel and Sirius XM. His relatable comedy makes him a desired headliner at fundraisers and a favourite at comedy clubs throughout Ontario. He apologizes for not being better looking.

Hey Brantford people we've got a great show this week. Our new co-host Jason Allen will be kicking off the show with Headliner Rahil Shaikh!

Rahil Shaikh is a comedian from Dharwar, Karnataka, India and is now based in Toronto. Rahil Shaikh is a comedian who isn't afraid to express his opinions.

Rahil Shaikh loves - much to the disdain of others - long walks, blue skies, a warm muffin and an occasional slice of pizza. Rahil shaikh has quickly established himself as a passionate and fast-rising talent who will stop at nothing. Not even a stop sign. His words, not mine.

Also, he likes jokes. When not performing comedy, Rahil Shaikh can be found eating dogs and petting donuts.

So come out for a great show!

Hey Brantford people! We’ve got a great show coming up this week with headliner Jacob Balshin.

Jacob Balshin has proven himself to be one of the most promising young comedians in the Country.

At this year's IHJ Awards in Toronto, Jacob was named Best Upcoming Comedian. Jacob has been selected to open for Mike MacDonald, Rich Vos, and Jenny Zigrino.

His sketch comedy videos on YouTube have been viewed by thousands and his stand-up comedy has been featured on Rogers TV. He has also been featured on Sirius XM and is the co-host of the Herb series Seed 2 Smoke.

You can catch Jacob every Tuesday at Comedy Bar in Toronto where he co-hosts his weekly variety show Last Call.
