📣📣 IMPORTANT! Please Read!!!
With the installation of our new Tables coming in the next few weeks, we are instituting some new regulations for tournaments and events at Legends effective immediately…
These are put in place to help the events run even smoother, with the demand for tournament spots increasing each week.
📣 1. ⏰
Registration for tournaments at Legends closes at 10am sharp. Those who are not checked in by 10am may not be permitted to enter the event.
(Calling in to add your name doesn’t count. You must be on site and checked in)
In some circumstances, and only when approved by the TD on site, a short grace may be given if there is extenuating circumstances such as extreme weather or major accidents that block the highway. We will prevent these reasons from being abused. Please ensure to leave your home area with enough travel time to arrive with enough time before 10am to park your vehicle and get to the registration table.
Repeat late players will not be allotted any grace time.
The many reasonings for this regulation change are simple. (A) We run these events with the plan to finish in good time, and not run late into the night. (B) We usually have only one TD on site and preparing prior to the auction can be very difficult when multiple players are adding in late. (C) many players from hours away wake up early and are on site and registered well ahead of the 10am cutoff, so allowing players to come in late constantly has some unfairness to it.
📣 2. 💯
On some occasions, (this will only be in rare occasions) a new player to Legends, or players who have Fargo stats but are unknown to us, might be required to open their Fargo profile to “public” so we can review play history. This will help us with rating unestablished players, and will go a long way to help Legends TD’s keep the integrity in the events. If a TD reaches out to ask your profile be opened, please be courteous and helpful with this. It may not have anything to do with your rating, and might connect with something else we are researching. If we reach out to ask you to open your profile, and you don’t know how to do it, the Td can assist.
