“In memory of Bill Logan. We lost Bill on Monday at 74 years young. He was the founder of the Mackenzie Creek Music Festival, which he established in 2014 and ran through 2022 before handing over the reins. Bill also participated as a bar steward over the years at the South Brant Legion. His Legion visits always kept people thoroughly amused. His sharp wit and sense of humor brought laughter to all who were in his presence. Bill's legacy is one of laughter, faith, love, and deep roots in his community. You will be missed and remembered fondly.”

A big thank you, to the second annual Ken Parker Memorial Golf Tournament held at the South Brant Legion early August. From the left... Sandy Bennett organizer of the golf tournament and Chris Parker, got together with the committee of Mackenzie Creek Music Festival Tim McGrattan, Sherri Kegels-Graham & Darrin Rattie. They have donated the proceeds towards the final completion of the stage to be done this fall. With a donation of a little over $3400 this will complete the stage work which needs to be done, making it a great spot for more live entertainment functions in 2026 for us all to enjoy! Thanks again, for supporting the South Brant Legion!

After Highway 53 finished their performance Darrin, myself and Paul Decloedt from Decloedt Renovations and the other volunteers that helped were surprised by being presented with a plaque in appreciation for the upgrades to the stage. Thank you, it was a very nice gesture.

Highway 53 got everyone up dancing for the second to last band of the night. Also Darrin was one of the main reasons for the upgraded stage this year.

Gunpowder & Grace were excellent. Their first appearance at our festival this year.
