The Arts West Council's 47th Annual Westman Region Juried Art Show is calling for entries (with option to include your work in this year's theme category Connections). Youth and adult categories, ages 11 to 111! Deadline to enter is April 16th. Drop-off and pick-up option in Brandon if you can't make it to Killarney-Turtle Mountain Arts Council. Call for Submissions: 210 Gallery Winnipeg, deadline April 12th

Manitoba Arts Network and their 210 Gallery are now accepting submissions from artists and collectives based in rural or Northern Manitoba (any community outside Winnipeg) for their 2027 exhibition calendar.

Arts Forward are thrilled to announce that the ArtFest Plein Air Experience is returning for 2026 and will be bigger than ever. Welcome special guest artist Perry Haddock, Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, known for his expressive brushwork and joyful painting style.

Perry will lead a three day Plein Air painting experience July 16–18, giving artists the opportunity to paint in both the natural beauty of Riding Mountain National Park and within Arts Forward's vibrant community.

🌿 Days 1 and 2 will take place in Riding Mountain National Park, painting in stunning outdoor landscapes.
🎨 Day 3, Saturday July 18, will take place in Neepawa as part of ArtFest, including a morning demonstration and guided session with Perry, followed by a group critique later in the day for full workshop participants.

Elkhorn Resort will be offering a group rate for visiting artists, and for those staying in Neepawa on Saturday, the Best Western Plus Hotel is a convenient local accommodation option.

And that is just the beginning of an incredible day in Neepawa…
