Here’s a koi fish cover up we completed yesterday. The original tattoo was actually one I did about 24 years ago waaaaaaaaaaay back in the fall of 2002.

We talked about doing a raven for the cover up. I had a design done, and the day of the appointment had arrived, but I wasn’t feeling it on the design. It was ok, but I didn’t think it was the best I could do. My client was super understanding, which was a huge relief, so we scrapped it, and went back to the drawing board.

I’m pumped about how this turned out! Thanks for being an awesome client Darren!

We're celebrating Bonfire Tattoo's 2nd anniversary! As a token of appreciation for my incredible clients, I’m giving away a 3hr tattoo session.

In the spirit of April Fools' Day, I want to hear your most ridiculous, weird, or amusing tattoo ideas. Share your concept in the comments, and I will pick the one that sounds like the most fun to do. Please note that the design will be based on your description, but I will have creative freedom in the design.

This giveaway is limited to arms and legs only, and does not include cover-ups.
