Canada Day in City of Brampton – Your Local Government is bringing a major country lineup to Chinguacousy Park! 🤠🎤

Emerson Drive will open the evening, followed by Multi-Platinum and award-winning Country star Lee Brice, with activities for all ages, food vendors and fireworks presented by Tim Hortons to close out the evening.

As you plan your day, please keep in mind:

✅ Enhanced safety measures will be in place
🎒 Security and bag checks will take place at event entry points
🚧 Road closures will be in effect
🅿️Paid on-site parking will be limited to first come first serve
🚌 FREE Brampton Transit shuttle service will be available from select locations

Give yourself extra time when you arrive and follow guidance from event staff and Peel Regional Police officers throughout the day.

Planning a visit to the City of Brampton – Your Local Government Farmers’ Market this Saturday? Add Brampton’s Pride celebration to your morning in Garden Square Brampton 🌈

Here’s what to know before you go:

📍 Brampton’s Pride celebration runs from 9 am to 1 pm in Garden Square.

🛍️ The Brampton Farmers’ Market will be running nearby, giving visitors a chance to enjoy local vendors and Pride programming in one downtown trip.

🎧 Pride programming includes live music by DJ Chissmiss Cherry, drag performances curated by Equal Peel, activities, giveaways, face painting and photo opportunities.

🤝 Community booths will feature local organizations and City services supporting Brampton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies.

Thank you to everyone who visited Garden Square for Brampton’s National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration. 🧡

Held during the , the event featured Indigenous-owned vendors, handmade goods, beadwork, community information booths and music from DJ 5rivers.
Residents had the opportunity to explore, connect with community, support Indigenous businesses and learn more about Indigenous cultures and traditions.

Each June, the City of Brampton – Your Local Government recognizes National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, honouring the diverse cultures, voices, histories and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples across Canada.

The City of Brampton is located on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, Haudenosaunee and Wendat Nations. As a City, we are committed to our ongoing role in reconciliation through meaningful action rooted in truth, justice and respect.

🚌 Parking is extremely limited, so take a FREE Brampton Transit shuttle from one of four locations

On June 27, Garden Square Brampton will be filled with live music, drag performances, Pride-themed activities, photo opportunities and community booths.

Lee Brice and Emerson Drive are coming to Brampton for Canada Day! 🇨🇦🎤

Celebrate at Chinguacousy Park on July 1 from 12 to 10 p.m. for the City’s largest annual festival, presented by Tim Hortons.

Here’s what to expect:

🎤 Live country music featuring headliner Lee Brice, a Multi-Platinum and award-winning Country star, with support from Emerson Drive
🎈 Inflatables and activities for all ages
🍔 Food vendors onsite
🎆 Fireworks presented by Tim Hortons to close out the evening

To support a safe and enjoyable experience, enhanced safety measures will be in place throughout the event.

Road closures will be in effect and on-site parking is extremely limited. Residents are encouraged to walk, cycle or take the FREE Brampton Transit shuttle service from select locations across the city.
