Imagine if this piece of Toronto’s history had disappeared. 👀

In the 1970s, plans for the Eaton Centre threatened the historic Church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1847.

But the congregation resisted, and the development plans were eventually changed to preserve it.

Today, the church still stands right in the heart of downtown Toronto, surrounded by modern buildings.

But here’s the question: Should Toronto prioritize preserving historic buildings, or make way for modern development?

Say what you want about Toronto, but this city really does have its moments. 🇨🇦

Sometimes you just have to slow down, walk around and actually notice the architecture, public spaces and little details around you.

Toronto may not be perfect, but boring? I don’t think so.

I’ve decided to start chasing waterfalls around the GTA before winter shuts the idea down. 😂🍂

First stop: Hilton Falls.

Almost 5 km of walking, two guys who clearly weren’t built for map reading 😂, and eventually… we found what we came for.

Was Hilton Falls worth the chase? I’d say yes, especially with the trails, the history and that unexpected reservoir at the end.

But this is only Waterfall #1. 💦

👇 Ontario people, I need you for the next one: which waterfall should we chase before winter comes?

Toronto gets criticized a lot, but sometimes you just have to actually look around. 👀

Right in the middle of all the glass towers and busy downtown streets sits the Royal Alexandra Theatre, a Toronto landmark that’s been here since 1907. 🎭

Old Toronto and modern Toronto in the same frame… and somehow it works.

Maybe we don’t give this city enough credit.

The way people talk about Brampton online, you’d think the whole city was a disaster 😭😂

Then you drive through neighbourhoods like this and realize… maybe the internet doesn’t show the full picture.

Beautiful homes, quiet streets, and a completely different side of Brampton than the one that usually goes viral.

Of course, Brampton has its issues but what city doesn’t?

So I’m curious 👀 Does Brampton really deserve the reputation it gets?

TORONTO’S WATERFRONT IS CHANGING — BUT SHOULD EVERYTHING CHANGE WITH IT? 👀

Toronto’s Port Lands are going through a major transformation, with new neighbourhoods, housing, parks and public waterfront spaces planned and already taking shape.

But here’s the interesting part: Toronto still needs this to function as a working port, and significant industrial and employment areas are being retained.

So maybe the real question isn’t whether this area should change.

How much of the old Toronto should remain as the new Toronto is built?

Would you rather see more housing and public spaces here, or protect more of the working waterfront?
