We have had some enquiries about a show in 2025; We only put on a show every two years. We are hoping to hold our next Great British Train Show in the Spring of 2026 and will have details to follow. We are looking forward to seeing you there if you can make it!

Great British Train Show
The Platelayers Society has been hosting British model railway shows in the Greater Toronto Area since 1977. The Great British Train Show has been scheduled every two years since 1992 and is the only train show in North America related to the railways and trains of Britain.

The Platelayers Society and friends are getting ready for the 2024 Great British Train Show. We have returning favourite model railways as well as some new exhibits that haven't been seen before. We are also hoping to arrange for some demonstration booths where some of our members will show how they build great models. Of course, there will also be lots of trains, books and modelling supplies to look at and buy
