We're hiring at Bradford Underground Bowl!

Position: Bowling Alley Specialist
Type: Part-Time
Wage: $16-18/hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and customer-focused Bowling Alley Specialist to join our team at Bradford Underground Bowl.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to players of all ages, ensuring they enjoy a carefree, safe, and fun bowling experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process transactions and maintain accurate cash handling.
- Assist customers with reservations, lane selection, shoe rental, and equipment necessary for bowling.
- Assist with social media management and website updates.
- Assist in monitoring and repairing bowling lanes and equipment.
- Serve and prepare refreshments and light snacks at the Snack Bar (Smart Serve is required).
- Host and oversee special events, parties, leagues or tournaments held at the bowling alley.
- Uphold the rules and etiquette of the bowling centre.
- Perform regular cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and sanitary environment.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Smart Serve for selling alcoholic beverages.
- Flexible schedule availability, including Friday and Saturday evenings.
- A fun, positive and friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- League bowling experience is highly preferred.

The people of Ukraine need the world’s help. As it stands, the Ukrainian government have suspended their currency markets, so Ukrainian causes are temporarily unable to receive funds. The most effective way to help is to support global humanitarian organizations who are on the ground in Ukraine or support from outside the country with refugee resettlement.

We will be collecting donations at The Bradford Underground bowl for our friends who are in Kopychyntsi in the Ternopoli region of western Ukraine. Right now, our friends (one of whom is the mayor of Kopychyntsi) are assisting families seeking safety and shelter from the towns of Zkiev, Donetsk and Sumy. They are in need of beds, pillows, bedsheets, medication, hygiene products. Our donations that will be collected will go directly to these people to aid in them being able to provide basic necessities for these families, and for their communities. Any donation – big or small – will help. War is never the answer! Slava Ukraini, and stay safe everyone!
