AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST…
David Wray (he/him) the Director!

The Shaw Festival, three consecutive seasons at the Stratford Festival, over twenty Mirvish performances, and four touring productions of Phantom of the Opera: David (he/him) has been in the audience for all of these. While participating in the arts, David owns and operates Prism Theatre in the Park, which is celebrating its 15th season this year. He has taught improv and theatre for all ages across Ontario, and is excited to bring Romeo and Juliet to the Rene Caisse with the help of Theatre Muskoka. He insists that pirate-themed is how Romeo and Juliet was meant to be performed, and is eager to introduce that truth to everyone.

Nick Kulchar (he/him) as Prince Escalus!

Despite what you may have heard from the RAND Corporation, Nickolas Kulchar is an elusive being from the 5th dimension. While after-show sightings in the wild are quite rare, there are nearly 50 documented accounts of him appearing from the wings of Muskokan theatres. Tales say, if he sees his shadow in the spotlight, there will be six more weeks of theatre.

Neil Monforton (they/he) as Paris/Sampson!

Neil Monforton is from Windsor and has been living in Muskoka for almost 6 years. He joined PRISM last year as a backstage hand for the show Cyrano De Bergerac. This year, Neil is excited to be back on stage after 5 years, as Sampson and Paris in Romeo and Juliet.

Matt Breault (they/he) as Nurse!

Matthew Breault joined the PRISM team as backstage crew during the 2025 production of Cyrano de Bergerac. Originally from Mississauga, they’ve spent the last 6 years living in Muskoka. This year they’ve wandered onto the stage and haven’t been asked to leave yet.

Baz has always lived in Bracebridge, and has been involved with theatre in the area since the age of 8. Baz is a dental hygienist by day, and a thespian by night, and is very excited to bring a bit of their goth flare to the character of Friar Laurence!

Justin Kopysh (he/him) as Benvolio!

Justin is a trans actor located in Muskoka. He has been acting for almost 20 years & loves it dearly! He joined PRISM in 2016, when PRISM performed ‘Romeo & Juliet’ last time, which marks his 10th anniversary of his acting career with PRISM. His other credits with PRISM include: Sampson in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, Jusaac in ‘Three Musketeers’, Sir Guy of Gisborne in ‘Robin Hood’, Nick Bottom in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, Benedick in ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, and Comte de Guiche in ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’! He also stage managed for the first time during the 2022 production of ‘Julius Caesar’!

He is thrilled to be a part of this revised ‘swashbuckling’ rendition of ‘Romeo & Juliet’!

Beth Bussotti (she/her) as Lady Capulet!

Beth is fairly new to the world of theatre, making her debut in an all-female-presenting production of Julius Caesar, where she took on the powerful role of Marc Antony. Since then, she has spent her summers performing with Prism Theatre Company, appearing in productions such as Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Cyrano de Bergerac. This past winter, Beth enjoyed stepping into her first-ever Christmas production, Grinched. She is thrilled to take the stage again as Lady Capulet in this creative adaptation of the timeless classic Romeo and Juliet.

Fritz Ruttan (he/they) as Tybalt!

Fritz is a jack of all trades in the theatre world, working in enough departments to just be a few cards short of a deck. They have worked in theatre for upwards of ten years, doing work as a lighting technician, stage manager, actor, and much more. Fritz has worked with PRISM since 2018, performing in Macbeth, Robin Hood, Midsummer, and Much Ado. They are excited to explore new ideas in this seafaring take on Romeo and Juliet, despite their newly developed fear of open waters. We’re not saying it’s connected to the show, but we have some suspicions... Step aboard and join us on this voyage, and promise you won’t get seasick!

Cassidy Dunlop (she/her) as Mercutio!

Cassidy Dunlop is an actress from Gravenhurst, Ontario with a strong background in theatre and performance. She trained in competitive dance for most of her life and has also appeared in numerous improv and stage productions. Though small in stature, Cassidy is a “tiny-but-mighty” presence on stage who never hesitates to bring big energy to her performance. Cassidy has been involved with PRISM Theatre since the age of 14 and a few of her credits with PRISM include Robin Hood in ‘Robin Hood’ and Roxanne in ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’. Jordan Ross (she/her) as Juliet!

Jordan is a 23 year old enthusiastic local actress who believes that, with the power of a Red Bull and a Starbucks cake pop, anything is achievable! Jordan has been acting since she was 7 and has appeared in countless productions in the Muskoka area. In recent years, she has been an actor and board member with the Huntsville Theatre Company and Prism Theatre in the Park. Jordan’s recent roles include Gretchen in Boeing Boeing, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Duenna in Cyrano and Schwartzy in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Jordan is excited to be portraying her dream role as Juliet and creating the costumes for this fantastically piratical production!
