Such a wonderful book. I’m lucky to have a few copies at the studio. Both the stories and illustrations extraordinarily take you on imaginative adventures. ✨

Newfoundland and Labrador has a rich folklore tradition, well worth exploring and celebrating on .

Tom Dawe’s SPIRITED AWAY is a chilling collection of fairy stories that he collected from communities across the province.

[ID: An illustration by Veselina Tomova from Spirited Away. A lino cut, digitally augmented with colours and patterns. It shows A man playing the harmonica in the woods; a circle of Little People dance around his feet.]
