Ambush Anonymous Airsoft

Hey guys, looks like there might finally be a summer in sight! So we'd like to kick it off with an Airsoft 101/Swap Meet, where you can play some laid back games and buy (or sell) some sweet gear to get you started for the season! On May 14th, we will run afternoon games (1-4pm) geared towards introducing newer players to the sport although all are welcome to play:) Afterwards we'll take a supper break and from 5-9pm dive into some classic games we all love such as capture the flag, the bomb game, soccer and more!

Thankfully we are finally able to allow drop ins (no presign required) and no player limits so feel free to join us anytime after 12 pm until 9pm:) Admission will be $10 and if you wish to sell gear we do have a few tables available but to be safe we'd recommend bringing a personal table (and possibly shelter lol) along as well. In the event that we do see some rain we are more than willing to rock the day with you and just play casual games and hang out:) If it does get a little too wet, we will push the 101 and swap meet portion to May 21.

Finally, it is with a heavy heart that I post this announcement, that this year will be the final season for Ambush Anonymous Airsoft:( The reason is simply that we have been renting the property each year from two amazing landowners and as they are looking to retire have decided to build and move into a new home. And although the end of the course will be sad, we are happy that they have found a good place to settle down. That said, if anyone is interested in purchasing a sweet little country property/airsoft course, you can most certainly inquire on our messages for a quote lol.

Now it doesn't feel like it but Ambush has been open for a full 15 years and it is all thanks to you! You guys have brought a sense of fun, adventure and comradery to the field and it would be hard to find a better community to play with. You have supported us through many events, fundraisers and just all around chill days which were only possible because of your love of the sport. We have enjoyed providing a place where friends can come together to meet new people and, well, shoot them lol But honestly you guys have done more than you know and we only hope that we have given just a small amount of the joy you brought to us. We can rest assured that as we close, other people will carry on the spirit of Airsoft in Manitoba and help the newcomers to the sport find their place in the community. Places such as Hop Up Hero's and Xtreme Tactics are great courses, dedicated to the community, each with their own unique layouts and styles that we would highly recommend giving a shot this summer and in the coming years:) And if you're looking for a local sniper rifle/parts seller, check out 1 Shot Airsoft (Good guy, great guns lol). So thank you guys for an awesome time and we'll look forward to giving you one last amazing season! Peace:)

Hey guys, we are happy to announce that Ambush Anonymous will be opening up again for the 2021 season! Things will be a little different due to Covid and new requirements but I know we can make the best of the rest of our summer:)

We would like to say thanks, for sticking with us and waiting patiently for things to re open so we can go back to chilling out and shooting one another. So to get started, here is how our season will run…

Due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to host our traditional drop in time slots. Any public games will be run as small events and will require players to pre sign up for the event. We are looking at hosting 1-2 of these on Saturdays and possibly one on either Friday or Sunday. Keep an eye out for these events to pop up and sign on asap to secure a spot for the day. If you are unable to get on the going list for a weekly spot, please consider trying out Hop Up Hero’s course, as they will also be hosting group games throughout the summer. If you’re from Winnipeg, Xtreme tactics might also help scratch the itch...

Alternatively, you are also able to book a private game during any one of our open time slots. You can invite up to 40 people and play with other players of your choosing. We highly recommend this route as you get to control who plays and it is a little more Covid friendly than playing with random people.

Some extra details include:
-please social distance while you’re at the course, on and off of the field.
-please operate out of your vehicle as we will not provide tables(due to Covid cleanliness). You may bring a table and chairs if you care to.

Hey guys, many of you may have already heard about bill C-21 and the effect it will have on the airsoft community. If passed, it will make the majority of airsoft guns (replica fi****ms) illegal to use or possess, which could lead to the demise of our beloved sport. You can read more about it in the link provided, which will also give you an opportunity to petition against the bill and make your voice heard. Right now our community needs to stand together to oppose bill C-21 and the best way to do that is to raise awareness in order to show our government how many people would be impacted negatively if the bill is passed. Hey guys, I'd like to start by saying thank you all for making this summer amazing at Ambush and I hope we did the same for you:) You have introduced new players into a welcoming community, where friendships are formed, despite shooting each other for sport. You have supported your local fields and events put on by Hop-Up, South Manitoba Rifles and One Shot (and more) which helps airsoft grow in Manitoba. Finally, you have helped each other fix guns, set up shelters when it rains, educate new players when they struggled and many other little things that you don't even realize. That is why I'd like to say thank you!

Now as we know the outdoor airsoft season has pretty much come to an end this year and so it is with regret that Ambush will have to close earlier than anticipated. Unfortunately we will have to cancel tomorrow's event due to the escalation in Covid cases and some not so nice weather headed our way. Fortunately, if things go well we will get started up again in spring and rock another great year of airsoft! Hey guys, so far we've had a few guesses for our open time riddle but no one has figured it out yet... So I'm going to up the stakes:p The first person to correctly solve the riddle will receive a free bag of bbs to be picked up on any open time. The second person will receive a free rental which can also be claimed any time this year. Finally, third fourth and fifth place will recieve a free snack pack! This will be in addition to getting in free tomorrow:) So good luck guys and to leave you with a little hint, the answer is a word. Cheers! ps, I'll give you each two guesses... make them count;)

Hey guys, we are on the lookout for a gun that went missing during open time yesterday. It’s a Black MP40 with slight damage to the stock fold under stock. It had a green brick battery with it.
