Hello everyone
I hope you are all safe and healthy!
I understand that people are quite angry with me for not having resumed our season or had any concrete plans as of yet.
I completely understand your frustration!
It has been a challenging year, to say the very least.
I would love to be able to just start back up where we left off, and I am hoping that I still can!
I just don’t know when I can.
The vaccination issue is one that is holding things up.
I am not comfortable getting this vaccine, but now I’m not sure what do.
Unfortunately, I did not bring Covid.
When I decided to try and continue what Miss Sam started, last fall, I was told that I for sure had the use of the Anglican Church basement, at a price I could afford, giving me the opportunity to keep fees low.
Then I was told I couldn’t use the basement.
Leaving me in an awful predicament.
I scrambled and missed out on the first place we had.
I had no choice but to use Tony’s building.
That came at a very hefty price, leaving me in an even worse predicament, having to pay extra rent and insurance out of my own pocket.
I’m sure any of you that have registered for dance classes anywhere else, understand what dance actually costs!
There are many hours that go into class organization, choreography, music editing, the list is long!
This doesn’t include actual class time.
I am hopeful that I can resume at some point and a place will present itself that I definitely can afford.
And I appreciate anyone that gave me info into possible places.
There are so many uncertainties and variables.
I never encountered any of this in my whole teaching career and have been trying me best to navigate and try and keep everyone happy and dancing and enjoy a beautiful recital with your very talented kids!
That’s all I want!
If I am able to resume at some point, there will be no fees charged to complete our season.
To summarize, it is very unfortunate that Covid has put a damper on the dance season, again!
But I’m sure, as most of you are aware, my fees were very low to reflect the possibility of a shortened or stalled dance season.
If and when I can have concrete plans and the ability to keep the kids and myself safe, I will certainly let everyone know!
