SPACE DAZE FAMILY,

After more than five years of building, dreaming, dancing, and creating magic together, our beloved Angie () is stepping away from her role as Creative Director and Operations Lead at Space Daze.

Over the years, Angie has been instrumental in shaping what Space Daze has become. Since returning to Australia four years ago, she has continued to pour her passion, creativity, and vision into new projects and festivals, and we're excited to see where that journey takes her next.

This decision comes with nothing but love, gratitude, respect, and excitement for what's ahead.

As one of the original founders and directors of Space Daze, Angie's influence reaches every corner of what we've built. From branding and creative direction to operations, community building, music curation, DJing, and countless moments behind the scenes, there is a little piece of Angie woven into everything Space Daze has become.

We are endlessly grateful for the passion, creativity, and heart she has poured into this project over the last five years. The memories, music, friendships, and community we've built together will always be part of her legacy.

Since moving back to Australia, Angie has been bringing the same spirit of connection and community to festivals through The Sun Temple, a beautiful space inspired by the magic of gathering, resting, and reconnecting. We've been incredibly proud to see elements of the Space Daze philosophy carried into festivals such as and the legendary Rainbow Spirit Festival.

The Space Daze many of you know today was shaped by Angie's vision, creativity, and belief that festivals should be spaces for connection, safety, and community. We are so grateful for the foundations she helped build and the culture she helped create.

We'll be cheering her on every step of the way and can't wait to see what she dreams up next.

We’re excited to share that Space Daze will be part of the Bass Coast Festival 2026 lineup, hosting a 4-hour takeover.

After two unforgettable years of music, love, and connection at our Birken site, we’ve made the hard decision to pause Space Daze for 2026.

The Space Daze team is small but mighty, and over the past few years we’ve worked countless hours to build a beautiful community and create a platform for incredible music and artists to be expressed and shared. The effort that goes on behind the scenes is huge, and we’re incredibly proud of our crew and everything that’s been achieved together.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it comes from a place of love for our team, our project, and our community. We want Space Daze to always reflect our vision of people coming together, sharing creativity without judgement, and dancing all day and all night to truly great music in a safe and welcoming space.

This pause is a chance to recenter, realign, and make sure that when we gather again, those values are truly reflected.
This is not the end. It’s a reset.

We’ll be back with a Space Daze that reflects what we believe in and what this community deserves. We hope to see many of you at smaller, local gatherings before we meet again under the stars.

Thank you for the smiles, the moments, and the magic. We’re deeply grateful for your support and so excited to see what our future holds.
