I would like to thank the Rotary Club Of Belleville for presenting me with the Paul Harris Fellow award for Deadnersville in raising donations for Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
It is the highest award given out by the Rotary Club.
I want to thank & share this award with Deadnersville’s followers & supporters, for you made Deadnersville what it has become today.
Your generous donations over the years since Sheila’s brain hemorrhage, has amounted to over $106,900.00 that has been raised for BGHF.

Here is a little longer video for Slednersville.
Slednersville is in the Christmas house competition again this year.
If you like to drive & see the different decorated houses, you can go onto deckthehouse.ca tour & voting map to get the addresses.
If you can’t get to all the houses you can click on the address & most places have a picture or more. If there is a house you like you can vote for that house. You only get one vote. The more that everyone votes, the more a charity gets up to. Total of $1000.00.
If you like Slednersville’s decorations, we would love to have your support.
We are at 1744 County Rd 3 Carrying Place PEC.
If there is another house that you like the decorations, then please vote for them.

Hi everyone. Slednersville has entered into the deckyourhouse competition again this year.
The prize is up to $1000 for the winning house to give to the charity of their choice.
If you like Slednersville’s decorations, please go to this site & vote. https://deckthehouse.ca
Scroll down till you see tour map. It will give the addresses of the houses on the map with some of them with pictures of their decorations. You can then vote on which house you like.
If you get a chance, go on the map tour to see the different houses.
The more people that vote, the higher the prize up to $1000 to the winner’s charity of choice.

Welcome to Slednersville, the Christmas version of Deadnersville.
Along with the lights, there are musical & moving nutcrackers, along with Mickey, Minnie & Olaf for the young ones.
To make Mickey, Minnie & Olaf talk & sing, I have put a “try me”button on the fence. You can press the button for each character.
Please refrain from walking behind the fence, because of all the extension cords are there.
The video is a very fast walk around.

Hi!
I just want to thank everyone who came out & supported Deadnersville this year to make it a record breaking year for total donations & visitors.
Now I want to thank all the volunteers & supporters that made it possible.

Supporters & Sponsor’s:
Bill’s Johns have donated their portable washroom for the last 3 years to Deadnersville for the visitors who come out.

A&W Belleville for donating the root beer suckers for the last 2 Halloween’s. 5,000 last yr & 10,000 this yr to give out to visitors.

Little Ceasars Trenton for donating the pizza’s on Halloween to feed the volunteers the last 2 yrs. 10 large last yr. 15 small this year.

MCDOWELL’S Independent Belleville for giving a discount on 4,000 chocolate bars & 2,000 bags of chips the last 3 years.

Home Depot Belleville (Joe Rizk) & his great staff that helped Deadnersville get the props I needed. Also Joe & Karen where right on top of hearing about the ripped canopy tarp & getting us a new one within 2 days.

Hi everyone. Sorry that it took me 17 days to let you know how Deadnersville did this year.
Was busy trying to clear the mess the heavy snow did to the main 20x40 canopy & some of the props inside.
On a positive note, thanks to the many visitors that donated to
Belleville General Hospital Foundation at Deadnersville, we were able to donate $25,000 to the hospital this year, with over 23,000 visitors that came through the Halloween walk through.
Total raised to date since 2018 is over $106,900.00.
I had promised BGHF that I would keep on doing Deadnersville until minimum 80yrs old & raise $100,000.
This year I reached both of those milestones.
For the last 3 years we opened on October 1st because of the Halloween competition. Since there was no competition this year I’m going back to opening up on Thanksgiving Weekend again. That is if my health & body holds out to the long hours of setting up & meeting & greeting all the visitors that come out.
I will put out another post in the next few days of the names of the volunteers & the companies that make Deadnersville so successful to bring frights, joy & laughter to the visitors that come each year.
Thank you again to the greatest area in supporting Belleville General Hospital & Deadnersville.

Warming up after a long night of stalking the visitors.
We are open tonight from 4-10pm for Trick Or Treat & it is also scare night with the actors. Scaring starts at 6pm-10pm.
There are treat bags for all who visit no matter what your age.

Deadnersville will be back up running at full force
Tues 21st from 4-10pm.
With the help from some great people today, we were able to put a huge tarp over the the 13x26 frame.
The winds took it’s toll on a lot of the haunts that are in the area.
Please go out & support them. Like us, they put in a lot of hard work, love & their own money to bring joy to the faces that come out to visit them.
We at Deadnersville would like to thank everyone for your support & understanding.
Remember Friday from 8-10pm is scare time. Hope to see everyone.

******Please FOLLOW DEADNERSVILLE for any updates******
Deadnersville will be closed today Monday Oct. 20th for replacement of one of the canopies.
Because of temporary tarps in place, we feel that while replacing, there will be ladders & ropes across the walk through.
Sorry for any inconvenience & we will replace as soon as we can get a new fitted canopy cover.
Have a safe day on this windy wet Monday.
