Celebrating something truly special in Downtown Trenton!

Originally opened in 1926, Trenton’s downtown movie theatre is marking 100 years—and an incredible first year as Film.Ca Centre Cinemas. This milestone is a proud moment for our community. Since reopening last March, Film.Ca has breathed new life into this iconic space while honouring its rich history.

The Hollywood North mural, created by Christopher Bennett of SERNA Custom Artwork, was officially unveiled last Friday. The celebration brought the community together to enjoy film, creativity, and connection, featuring special guests, presentations, and a beautiful performance by the St. Paul Catholic School choir.

This milestone is a celebration of the stories that connect us and the people who make Trenton so special. Here’s to 100 years—and an exciting future ahead!

This plaque was presented at the 100th Anniversary celebration this weekend at Centre Cinema & will be permanently apart of the exterior Hollywood North mural by at in downtown Trenton/Quinte West.
