What would it look like to see your inner world—your strengths, your stories, your struggles reflected back in a mini version of you? 👩🎨
This self-representational doll was my way of exploring that question. It’s not about creating something that looks exactly like me. Instead, it’s about expressing my values, humor, creativity, resilience, and being self-compassionate when examining the flawed parts of myself.
Through color, texture, and setting, I gave shape to the many layers of who I am - light and shadow, courage and sensitivity. The superhero cape and the quiet, remote landscape of the moon remind me that we can be bold and reflective at the same time.
When we make something as a symbolic version of self, we begin to see ourselves with new eyes. These kinds of creative explorations can offer distance, clarity, and compassion - inviting us to reflect, reimagine, and honour all parts of who we are.
🧐 What might your inner world look like if you gave it shape?
