Workshop Announcement!!

Rahel Nahely will be hosting a workshop Sunday July 19th @ 2:15.

Join Rahel Nahely, a Swiss singer-songwriter and sound and voice arts therapist, for a playful and creative workshop designed for every curious soul. Whether you’re four or 104, this workshop is the perfect place to explore imagination and playfulness through voice and sound, no matter your musical experience.

Together, you’ll co-create a unique soundscape inspired by a shared image. You’ll work in small groups to come up with and tell a story using your voices and instruments or sound-makers you bring. If you have an instrument, please bring it – and feel free to bring more than one to share with others so everybody can join the fun. No instrument? No worries – your voice is an instrument, too, and just bring something along you can create sound with.

This experience is about connection, laughter, curiosity, and discovering the magic of collective storytelling through sound and voice. Come ready to have fun, create and surprise yourself.

Artist Announcement!!

The Highway 20 Ramblers will be playing Friday July 17th in Lobelco Hall.

The Highway 20 Ramblers are brothers Greg and Derek Pulliam, along with local legend Tom “Hammer Tone.” Derek’s been slapping upright bass and handling lead vocals in the country and rockabilly scene for twenty years, while Greg, a longtime Bella Coola resident, has been pounding the drums his whole life. Tom brings the fiery guitar that drives their raw, foot-stomping rockabilly sound straight from the heart of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, and Bill Haley and the Comets.

Juno winner Norman Foote creates a musical and comedic conversation with his audience. Using his songwriting, storytelling and sense of humour he connects with young and old. His ability to find ageless melodies and engaging subject matter has taken him to amazing concerts and communities throughout the world He also incorporates some hilarious “props with an attitude” into his concert performances. He has gathered music awards along the way, including a Juno and several WCMA awards. Recently Norman released his 10th album called “Shoe-fly".

The Foxxie Follies will be performing in Lobelco hall Friday July17th @ 9pm.

Sasparilla Foxx & The Foxxie Follies are a celebrated cabaret and burlesque performance troupe established in 2011, dazzling audiences across British Columbia to Ontario with bold, theatrical spectacle.

Led by multi-award-winning performer and producer Sasparilla Foxx, the troupe is celebrated for its richly theatrical productions, sharp storytelling, and ability to transform any stage into a world of glamour, humour, and intrigue. Each performance is crafted with precision, heart, and unapologetic artistry, showcasing some of Western Canada’s most dynamic and versatile performers.

For the Bella Coola Music Festival, Sasparilla Foxx will be joined by Scarlet Romancin’, Harley Venom, Curly Sue-me, Mora Sins, and Big D. A powerhouse ensemble ready to ignite the stage with unforgettable energy and allure.

We are deeply honoured and thrilled to be performing on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territory of the Nuxalk Nation, whose lands, waters, and skies we gratefully acknowledge and respect. The beauty and spirit of this place inspires us.

Artist Announcement!!

The Branch Fire Rounders will be playing Sunday July 19th @ 7:40pm.

The Branch Fire Rounders are a trio formed in Hagensborg, B.C. Barb Krimmer carries the band with her Gut Bucket bass. Although he would rather play Metal, Al Fontaine keeps the beat, and Chris Carlson helps with some chords and words. They have struggled to avoid world wide fame for over 8 years. Their music is not available on Spotify ,Apple music, or cd. Happy to entertain their friends at a campfire, or the Bella Coola Music Festival, this eclectic trio of musicians hopes to make you pause for a laugh ,crack a smile and hug your neighbour.
