Our Beaverton Canada Day schedule of events is confirmed and we are beyond excited for everything planned! Kicking the day off with the Annual Pancake Breakfast, Kids Fishing Derby, Strawberry Shortcake, Parades, Soccer Drills, BBQ, and then some amazing live entertainment with Hip Check playing, and wrapping up with a fire and LED show by Dragon Breath Entertainment before the fireworks. Plus the downtown shops and cafes will be open. Talk about jam-packed! We can’t wait to see you there! 🇨🇦🤩🇨🇦

Both neighbouring Lindsay & Georgina skating clubs are offering some summer skating programs for those interested in extra ice time. BSC looks forward to welcoming our skaters back in Sept for Fall sessions. Stay tuned for program and registration details . ⛸️

Look forward to having our skating members join us tonight . We promise it won’t be too lengthy and those in attendance have a chance to win $100.00 towards a full time registration for the 2026/27 season. The test structure in figure skating begins at Star 1 through to star 10 , and than the coveted Gold level. Skaters complete tests in all skating disciplines such as Skills, Freeskate, Dance & Artistic.Therefore it is very difficult to achieve GOLD status in our sport . It is with great pride our club presents the Gold Achievement award for two of our longtime skaters :

The Marilyn Dawson Family Award is awarded to the most involved skating family.

The Hayes award is in memory of Alexandria and Mikaela Hayes, 2 of our skaters whose lives were taken tragically in a car accident in 2011. This is awarded to 2 Junior skaters that demonstrate sportsmanship, spirit and the joy of skating ⛸️

The Gaye Armstrong Award is awarded to a senior skater that sets an overall high standard and example of sportsmanship to other skaters. This year our club proudly presents the award to Julia. 🏆🎉
