One Day Alberta was one for the books! It is events like these that we are so passionate about — getting face to face with creatives, spending time in God’s presence together, hearing their stories, encouraging them to walk out their calling — this is why Tapestry Collective exists.

This is the type of thing we get so excited about—collaborating with a real human who has a God-given gift!
We brought our vision of a broken alabaster jar with roses of Sharon to .does.art and she brought it to life so beautifully with watercolours. This painting was scanned and adjusted in Photoshop with text and a border added for the single we released last month, Move Your Heart.
So thrilled with how the single artwork turned out!

Tapestry team member shared at our One Day event that we have the unique opportunity, on this side of heaven, to lay our gifts down at the feet of Jesus. When we release all that He has given us back to Him, we can create with pure hearts. Getting in the presence of God and beholding Him aligns our priorities and motives.

We are still feeling so grateful for the incredible time we had together at our Ontario One Day event two weeks ago!

We gathered with 25 artists to seek the Lord, connect with each other, eat well & make a creative plan!

God put creative gifts in you to be USED! Yes, there are seasons when God asks us to lay our gifts aside, and He always wants our whole heart, but we do believe that the Lord is marking artists and calling them forth to declare who He is to the world through art, through creativity, through beauty.

Step out, release the art!

It’s in our lowest moments that our worship truly costs something, and like David, we want to bring God something that really costs us, for He is worthy of it. Let this be the declaration of an undivided heart — that He is our one thing. ❤️‍🔥

God is inviting us, His church, to return to a place of pure devotion— He is worthy of love and commitment that costs us everything. This song comes out of that longing; we desire for offering of our hearts to move God’s as we bring Him pure worship in Spirit & in truth.

It is the cry of our hearts to see revival in our nation. Lord, let the fire of love burn bright in the Canadian Church! May we be like Mary and David who chose the “one thing.”
