Brought to Life Productions Bringing Kids to Life through the Arts and Christ! Brought to Life Productions is an arts program in Barrie Ontario for Children and Youth from Grades 4-9.

It is a place for students to Engage, Explore and Enact both their faith and talents. Students from Grades 4-9 will be able to choose which Arts Stream they want to be a part of. They can choose from Drama, Dance, Voice, Piano, and Visual Arts. Within that Stream they will be placed in a group with a gifted and screened instructor. This instructor is more than a teacher, they are there to build co

mmunity within the group. And the group time is more than just a lesson, it is a time for the students to share life together, to have face-to-face conversations, and learn about faith and their gifts. Each week’s program will be hosted at Mapleview Community Church on Mondays 6:30 - 7:30, Sept 21 - Dec 7 (excluding holidays). ***Program time may be subject to slight change. The weekly Monday night group lessons will culminate with the Christmas Showcase on Dec 12. Each Stream will be represented in the Showcase either live, by video, or by gallery. Starting with a Blank Space

What is a Blank Space to you? Is it emptiness? boring? or an opportunity?

Several months ago there was a Blank Space, and within that space was an idea, but not just any idea... an idea of art, growth, belonging and change. This idea was to bring a theatre arts program to Barrie Ontario through Mapleview Community Church. Then COVID graced us with its presence, and everything was put on hold. Months passed, and it looked like Brought to Life Productions was going to die before it started.

Then there was a second idea, and a few people crazy enough to run with it.

Brought to Life Productions is a diverse arts program for students grades 4-9 which encompasses performing AND visual arts through small groups. Students can choose from voice, acting, dance, piano, and visual arts culminating in a showcase at the end of the season.
