Call for Artists: The Painterly Artist 2026 is now open.
Hunter Guise Gallery invites artists to submit original, hand-made works for The Painterly Artist 2026, a curated online exhibition celebrating the visible hand of the artist.
We are looking for work that embraces mark-making, material presence, colour, gesture, atmosphere, interpretation, and personal vision.
Eligible media include oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, and physical mixed media.
Deadline: July 31, 2026
Exhibition Dates: August 15 – September 30, 2026
Entry Fees: $15 / $25 / $35 for up to 3 artworks
Awards: Cash prizes, promotional recognition + People’s Choice Award
Photography, digital art, AI-generated imagery, photo-based work, and photorealistic replication are not eligible.

Hunter Guise Gallery invites artists to submit original, hand-made works for The Painterly Artist 2026, a curated online exhibition celebrating the visible hand of the artist.
