Another on the road gelli print, another plot twist 😅
Paint dried uneven again.
Clay roller picked up what it wanted.
That seam down the middle? No clue.

But zoom in 👆
The pattern + color shift is giving vintage tile.
Keeping it. Slicing it. Loving it.

No idea what it’ll be used for yet… but it’s staying ✨

Took my gelli plate on the road and the room had other plans 😅
Too hot + rogue fan = paint drying weird
Clay roller kept skipping = partial patterns
Kept going anyway = this 👆

Sometimes the “wrong” conditions make the right texture.
Not mad about it ✨

Tried this combo before and… it flopped 😅
Tried it again today and THIS happened ✨

Before: Same Prussian blue paint, same 3D printed clay roller… but I grabbed a pencil too early and rolled it wet. Muddy mess.
Now: Same supplies, skipped the pencil, waited for the perfect dry time. Totally different result. That’s gelli printing for you.

So glad I kept going. This pull has perfect texture + crisp floral detail — straight to the favorites pile 🙌

Do you ever re-run a “failed” print?

Today’s gelli print pull and WOW — look at that detail ✨

This one came out so crisp I actually gasped when I lifted the paper. Deep raspberry ink on a textured white background using a 3D clay roller for the pattern.

This is why I keep coming back to gelli printing. Pure magic every time.

What should I use this print for? Collage? Art journal background? Tell me 👇

The finished pages from Friday’s live on the Elizabeth Craft Designs page ✨

My first weekly memory binder spread features a fun day with my grandson — lunch, shopping, and being silly 🇨🇦

I tried some fun stencil stamping and created faux rusty gears to add texture to the papers from Backgrounds V.3. I added the Tag folding trio to the Rounded travel page so that I had enough room for all those pics. Finished it all off with sentiments from the Journal Ephemera.

This spread makes me smile every time I flip past it. Treasured moments, for sure 💛

Here are the finished pages from today’s live over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs page.

I did end up switching the side for the tag pocket after the live. I added sentiments to most of the pics and of course found the lost splatter 😂

Once I took the pictures I realized I had used the gear stencil in the same direction on both pages, oops, lol. I had meant them to be opposite, but oh well, they still look great!
