First pull with this new 3D printed clay roller 👀

I’ve used clay rollers on the gel plate a lot, but this pattern is new to me and I can’t decide what it looks like 🤔

My first thought was textured leather or alligator? My friend said distressed denim.

Lamp Black down first, rolled the new roller through it, then Silver for the pick up layer.

What do YOU see? Leather, alligator, denim, or something else? 👇

**Materials:**
Gelli Arts plate
Liquitex, Mont Marte, Artist Loft paint
Plain printer paper

Part 2! Remember that inky background from yesterday? 👀

I said I’d make something with it — and I turned it into 4 ATCs! ✂️

I cut the sheet into ATC size, rounded the corners, and added black cardstock backings to really make those colors pop.

Then I had fun with the Journal Ephemera 2 book & the Layers of Time rub-ons. ✨ Each one picked up the color differently so they all feel a little unique.

Which one is your favorite? I’m torn between the wings and the fantastic one 👇

I used:
The background from yesterday’s reel (blending brush ink + Soft Finish Cardstock)
CSD456 Where Wings Wander, CS457 Stamped & Worn
Journal Ephemera 2 | Layers of Time rub-ons
Versamark ink | Ranger Gold embossing powder
Coffee Archival ink | Cashmere Catherine Pooler ink

Don’t wash those blending brushes just yet! 👀

Time to clean your brushes? Do THIS first!

I was shocked at how much ink came out of my brushes when I went to clean them, so instead of wasting it, I put it to use.

I used a sheet of Soft Finish Cardstock from Elizabeth Craft Designs - it’s 90lb and takes wet media really well. I overdid it on the green and wish I had made multiple pages, but I really didn’t think this was going to work 😂

I have to say I was shocked to see the results once it was dry 😲 and I will definitely make multiple pages next time.

Tune in tomorrow to see what I make with this background ✨

Have you ever tried this? Don’t let that ink go to waste!

Weekly Memory Binder - Week 33 ✨

I didn’t take any photos this week 😮 so I did something different. I journaled about what I did instead!

Since it was mostly a crafting week, I added a photo of some of my craft supplies, including a sneak peek at some ATCs.

The Home Hobbies die set was perfect for documenting this week. I cut out multiple paint tubes then coloured them with markers. They looked a little plain so I added a stamp from the Art Journal collection and aren’t they the cutest little things?! 😘

Do you ever have no-photo weeks? What do you do instead? 👇

Supplies I used:
Rest & Relaxation papers | Everyday Ephemera books
2357 Home Hobbies | 2334 Base Page Assortment
CS457 Stamped & Worn | 2356 Rounded Travel Page

A tale of two prints 💙

First pull? Not great. The paint was too wet and the details got lost.
Second pull? Much better!

Letting the paint get tacky before rolling is KEY..but so hard to get right 😅 It’s such a fine line between too wet and too dry.

This time I layered blue with silver and the contrast is everything ✨

Which do you prefer — the solid blue on top or the blue + silver on the bottom? 👇

Trying this again with different music because Meta didn’t like the last one 😂

That’s a wrap on the doily gelli print series 💙
10 tries. 10 textures. 1 thrift store bag of doilies.

From the first pull to the final burnt umber + text print,
each one taught me something new about layering, color, and patience ✨

Which one is your favorite? Tell me below 👇

Thank you for coming along for every print!
What should I experiment with next?

08/27/2026

Not every experiment turns out how you pictured it 💙

I tried to make a bright masterboard background with inks...
and got something way more dull and muted instead 😅

But I used it anyway. Cut it down and turned it into Artist Trading Cards for the Banff retreat.
Sometimes the “mistakes” make the best vintage backgrounds.

Be kind to yourself is the perfect sentiment for how I was feeling with this one, lol. 😉

Do you ever use backgrounds that didn’t go as planned? Tell me 👇

Tenth try, tenth texture 💙
When burnt umber + text make magic ✨

This doily pulled the crispiest lace detail and looks amazing with the dictionary print layered underneath.
The texture is so deep you can feel every loop in the doily.

That’s a wrap on the thrift store bag of doilies! 🎉
I’ll have a recap of all 10 prints on Friday — don’t miss it 😉

Did you catch all 10? Tell me 👇

New Rest and Relaxation page featuring the Pocket Page Inserts 4 and some Journal Sleeves.

I wanted to keep this whole week on one page...
because if I give every moment its own spread, my binder will explode 😂

So I added journal sleeves for extra photos,
and made a little ticket tab that turns to open them up.

Now this pocket page holds more, without taking up more space.

Sometimes memory keeping is just problem solving 😉
Do you like to add interactive bits to your pages too? Tell me 👇
