The runaway star of yeticon this year was my brush buddy flash!
It's not often I am excited about something at the same time as everyone else. I've been slowly reading Witch Hat for years, so it was really amazing to see other people get excited about something I feel so passionately about, and be able to talk to people who are just as enthusiastic as me.
Witch Hat Atelier is incredibly important to me because I first started reading it when I first started tattooing. I was getting a lot of hate online because my work wasn't amazing and I had very low confidence. So finding this book about a girl who is learning to draw and not great at it and starting from a different place from everyone around her really spoke to me, and really motivated me to hit the fake skin and keep practicing.
Thank you to yeticon for having us, thank you to Jason and Morgan and 2B for making this possible for me, thank you to all the cool people I got to meet and talk to and tattoo, and a special thank you to all the people in witch hat cosplays that were really cool and chill with me being weird at you and asking for pictures
If you see yourself/your tattoo please comment! The weekend was a blur and I didn't get everyones info so let people know where to find you!
