A huge thank you to Lynne Guliford of Salmon Arm for her incredible generosity!

Lynne was one of our 50/50 winners at the 77th Annual North Thompson Fall Fair & BCRA Polaris Championship Finals Rodeo, and generously chose to give a portion of her winnings back to the Association.

A big thank you to MacDougall Farms for their generous donation of corn and pumpkins to the 77th Annual North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo!

Support from local farms and businesses means so much to our fair and helps us continue celebrating agriculture and our community year after year.

Our hearts are full.

Another North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo has come to a close, and we are once again reminded just how special this community really is.

For 77 years, generations of families have walked through these gates. They’ve entered their best baking, vegetables, livestock and handmade creations. They’ve filled the grandstands, volunteered their time, caught up with old friends and made memories with their families.

This fair is so much more than one weekend. It is tradition. It is agriculture. It is community. It is generations of people coming together to keep something special alive.

To every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who supported us, every exhibitor and competitor who participated, every vendor and entertainer who joined us, and every person who walked through our gates, thank you.

There are countless hours of work behind a weekend like this, but seeing the grounds full of people, hearing the grandstands cheering and watching another generation experience the fair makes every one of those hours worth it.

Thank you for believing in this fair, supporting it and continuing to make it part of your Labour Day weekend.

From all of us at the North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo Association, thank you for an unforgettable 77th year.

Tonight is the perfect night to decorate a float, dig out a costume and get ready to join the Fall Fair Parade tomorrow!

There are lots of ways to enter, you don’t need a big fancy float! Parade categories include Commercial Floats, Organization/Club Floats, Group/Family Floats, Antique Vehicles, Horse & Rider, Horse in Harness, Decorated Golf Carts/Scooters, Walking Costumes and Comic Costumes. There really is a category for everyone!

And don’t forget, there are cash prizes for Best Overall Float — $500 for 1st, $300 for 2nd and $200 for 3rd!

Saturday, September 5
Assemble: 9:00 AM
Judging: 9:30 AM
Parade starts: 10:30 AM
No entry fee!

This year, the Family Parade will also be joining the main parade, so bring the whole crew! You’ve still got tonight to get creative, we’d love to see you in the parade tomorrow!

Getting to the 77th Annual North Thompson Fall Fair & BCRA Polaris Championship Finals Rodeo is easy!

Take advantage of our FREE shuttle service running between the Fairgrounds, Business Centre, Senior Centre and Ball Diamonds throughout the day.

There will also be a Chu Chua shuttle, leaving the Band Office at 9:15 AM and returning from the Fairgrounds at 5:30 PM.

Skip the parking and catch the shuttle!
