Congratulations, STEPHANY SAN BUENAVENTURA, our CKFW 2026 Teen Bloom Through The Winds Awardee! 💚💚💚 presented by Calgary Kids Fashion Week and Spotlight Couronne Internationale Inc.
Meet Stephany, a 15-year-old whose journey is deeply woven into the heart of CKFW. From Season 1, she has been one of the pioneering blooms, growing, learning, and quietly cheering on others as they stepped into their moment. She stood in the background for years, witnessing Bloom Award recipients rise, holding onto her own dream with patience, faith, and determination. And now, her time has come. Because sometimes, the most beautiful moments arrive when you’ve stayed consistent, even when no one is watching.
Stephany is more than a talented young model, dancer, and aspiring pageant queen, she is a loving and caring daughter with a purpose bigger than herself. She sees her passions not just as achievements, but as a way to gently inspire others. Through her journey, she hopes to remind her peers that dreams are always within reach when you lead with hard work, kindness, and heart.
At the center of her strength is her deep bond with her sibling, who faces challenges such as speech delay, ADHD, and anxiety. This connection has shaped Stephany into someone filled with empathy and understanding. It has also inspired her dream of pursuing psychology, so she can one day help children like her sibling find their voice, embrace their uniqueness, and feel seen in a world that doesn’t always understand them.
Stephany believes in the quiet power of kindness. Through volunteering and simple everyday actions, she shares a message that even the smallest gesture, a smile, a kind word, can make a difference in someone’s life.
Her journey with the SCI community has been nothing short of transformative. It became her safe space, a place where she discovered self-love, built confidence, and learned humility. Here, she realized that courage is not about being fearless, but about showing up despite the fear. Surrounded by mentors and fellow dreamers, she found a family that uplifts, supports, and grows together.
Through her dedication, Stephany has trained and participated in major SCI events such as CKFW, EKFW, CIFAW, Fashion Gala Canada, and even international platforms like New York and Paris Fashion Week. These experiences have shaped her into a role model, leading her to become part of the mentorship training program, where she now gives back by guiding and inspiring the next generation of dreamers.
