Founders of the Aurora Winter Blues Festival, MusicAurora provided residents of Aurora and beyond the simulcast of The Tragically Hip final concert Aug 21, 2016 in Town Park.

Our partners, sponsors like the incredible Highland Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac helped make this possible. We had live blues music with youth band Spencer Mackenzie opening for the Hip.

The Town of Aurora in partnership with the Aurora Winter Blues Festival and community volunteers, proudly hosted a community screening of the CBC News The Tragically Hip - A National Celebration at Aurora Town Park last night, with live music from The Spencer MacKenzie Band. A guest book was available for those to sign that the Town of Aurora will present to The Tragically Hip on behalf of the community. Donations were collected for the Gord Downie Brain Cancer Research Fund at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. It was an evening that was like no other. CBC Toronto
