Hello September! We’re celebrating TWO YEARS of Aurora Town Square with A Month of Culture, a month-long celebration of arts, culture and community in the heart of downtown Aurora.

Since opening in September 2024, Town Square has become a place to gather, experience something new, make memories and connect with our community. And this September, we’re celebrating with a lineup packed with:

A powerful story. A celebrated film. One unforgettable night.

On October 15, experience Uiksaringitara (Wrong Husband), the award-winning Inuit film directed and co-written by renowned Inuk filmmaker Zacharias Kunuk. Winner of the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival Award for Best Canadian Feature Film, the film offers a compelling window into Inuit storytelling and perspective.

The special screening is presented in support of The Art of Storytelling: An Indigenous Exhibit at Royal Rose Gallery, making this an opportunity to experience Indigenous storytelling through both film and visual art.
