Rock Haven Farms is a family owned and operated grain farm and seed cleaning operation located north of Assiniboia, SK. We are looking for an individual that posses the skills (or is willing to learn how) to operate the seed cleaning plant as well as is able to operate farm machinery during seeding and harvest.
Duties include:
-Operating and maintaining farm machinery
(machinery includes combine, air seeder, roller, rock picker, grain cart, semi truck, augers, sprayer)
-Operating and maintaining seed cleaning plant
(loading and unloading trucks, monitoring and maintaining seed cleaning machines, organizing clients for pick up and delivery, making invoices on the computer)
-Harvest and seed crops
(seeding and harvest involves being in the field for long hours, planting crops, hauling seed and product, harvesting crops)
Requirements:
-Farming experience a must
-Familiar with computers, GPS, Auto Steer
-Ability to work alone as well as with others
-Own a vehicle and possess a valid driver’s licence
-Possess or ability to obtain a 1A licence
-Able to work long days, in all weather conditions
-Adaptable, self motivated, reliable, hardworking, organized
