Memories of a day at Seal Island

As we got off of the boat and onto the island, a man on a wheeler came by towing this green cart. He told us to load our things into it (cooler, food, small bbq) and he drove them to the nearby beach for us. So helpful and kind!
It really was a perfect day.

Summer Pasture & Lupines
My newest painting is complete! Cows resting in a summer pasture while the lupines are in full bloom. This is an acrylic on 18 x 24 stretched canvas, which is a larger size than I usually paint.

John's Cove, Yarmouth Bar

Painted this from a photo that I took a few years ago. Had fun playing with the clouds and the rocks. I think its done!

Finally done!
This owl was painted with oils, and its a 12 x 16 on stretched canvas. Always a bigger challenge for me when I paint with oils, but I'm happy with the outcome.
