Annapolis Voices

Annapolis Voices Annapolis Voices is an auditioned mixed choir based in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. The choir auditions for new members at the start of each term.

Annapolis Voices was established in the fall of 2009 when a group of singers who met informally decided to become a performing choir under the direction of Deirdre Morrell-Ormerod. Deirdre led the group until they paused activities due to the pandemic, and in 2022 Augusto Enriquez took the reins for the choir’s return to practice and performance. Together with Beth Cranston as accompanist, Augusto

directed the choir for the 2022-2023 season. In the Fall of 2023, Beth became the current Artistic Director of the choir. Singing high level SATB repertoire of all styles and often without accompaniment (a ca****la), Annapolis Voices is an auditioned ensemble that rehearses Monday nights in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. They perform two concerts a year, in December and June, and endeavour to also participate in various events in the community.
