MEET THE CAST!
Gwyneth Covey - Constable, Bates
Gwyneth is a first-year Music and Philosophy Major, and English Minor. She has been involved in community theatre productions around her hometown in Simcoe County Ontario since 2013, and has always had a great love of performance arts of all kinds. Some of her more notable roles include Snoopy in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Clearview Community Theatre 2019), and Margaret in Pirates of Penzance (Clearview Community Theatre 2018). This is Gwyneth's first experience performing in a Shakespearean play and she is very excited to take on this new challenge, as well as help keep the world of theatre alive at Redeemer.

Chloe Martin - The Dauphin, Ely
Chloe is in her third year, majoring in Psychology and minoring in English. Chloe had always loved Theatre Arts, and in the past has participated in any acting opportunity that was available through high school, whether it was a full-on production or just wandering character gigs. Chloe was a part of the original Henry V production, and is thrilled to get the chance to see this show come to the stage again with another incredible cast.

Aidan Plato - Williams, Orleans
Aiden is in his fourth year at Redeemer University, and is from Fort Erie, Ontario. Aiden is one of the few remaining Theater majors, and is also pursuing an English Writing minor. He has been involved in multiple theater productions at Redeemer including Stranger in the Land and Seeds. Aiden missed the opportunity to participate in the original production of Henry V and is excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the new cast!

Devan Ferrier - Governor, Erpingham
Devan is in her second year, with an English and Media double major. She is new to the world of theatre, having only done a few plays in elementary school. At the end of 2019 she had the opportunity to be part of her high school’s production of Newsies. She greatly enjoyed the musical experience that included singing, dancing, and acting. This experience prompted her to originally double major in English and Theatre Arts until the program was sadly cut last year. She joined Henry the Fifth to continue her theatre journey!

Samantha Avery - Scroop, Gower.
Samantha is in her second year, with a double major in Psychology and Theology. Samantha grew up with an interest in acting and performed in some church and elementary school productions. After switching schools, she stopped performing but continued to enjoy the arts as a viewer rather than a participant. Samantha decided to get back into theatre this year as a way to expand her comfort zone and have fun creating a cool show.

Elizabeth is in her second year, with a major in Mathematics, and a double minor in English Literature and Psychology. Elizabeth has always loved being involved in plays and greatly enjoys being a member of the theatre community. Favorite theatre experiences include her high school’s production of The Mouse That Roared, and Redeemer University’s Stranger in the Land. Elizabeth is always excited to participate in theatre whenever she can, and was thrilled to join the cast of Henry the Fifth. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Rowena Hobbs - Cambridge, Montjoy
Rowena is in her third year at Redeemer studying Theatre Arts and Music. After mourning the loss of Henry V (2020) and Redeemer's theatre department, being a part of bringing Henry the Fifth to life, has been such a blessing. Previous experience includes A Parting Glass, at Redeemer University, and various original and abridged Shakespeare productions at Jubal Cottage School. "We... shall be remembered. We few, we happy few. We band of brothers."

Megan Koonstra - Burgundy, Ambassador, Salisbury.
Megan is in her second year, with a major in Psychology and a double minor in English and Social Work. This is Megan’s theatrical debut! She has always had an interest in theatre, but her high school was too small for her to participate in any productions. Henry the Fifth was the perfect opportunity for Megan to experience the theatre she missed out on in high school! She was drawn to the lovely community of the cast, and is excited to participate in this production!

Caleb Tourangeau - Gloucester
Caleb is in his first year, with a social work major and psychology minor.
His theatre experience consists of small church plays, stage managing for a high school production in grade 10, and a supporting role in his grade 11 high school play, which was sadly canceled due to COVID. Caleb wanted to be a part of Henry the Fifth because it is an opportunity to be in a play again, for the first time in nearly two years!
