I'm really enjoying these mini matchbox shadowboxes. I started making them last summer to use up some scraps in my studio and now I'm hooked! It's a nice change from the very detailed paper botanical work that I'm usually doing. I'm also very glad to see that others have been inspired to make some too!
PS yes my desk is a mess- as it should be!

I made this Centaurea Montana as a special birthday gift. Follow along to see how I packaged it for shipping.
My flowers are tough, but I don't want them to get squished in the mail.

Made a little violet (Viola odorata) for my Provence wildflower collection. I am working from sketches, tracings, a pressed plant, and fresh violets from my yard.
