🎓 GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT: Aysia 💫
Our second grad spotlight of the season goes to the incredible Aysia. Over the years, Aysia has become one of the most improved dancers to ever dance at ADC — all through her hard work, dedication, and passion for dance. We have always admired how much she takes on in and out of the studio and how she continues to accomplish everything with such grace and determination. 💖
We are so proud of how far you have come and all the hard work you’ve put in to become the dancer and young woman you are today. It has truly been an honour to be a part of your journey. 🩰

What is your favourite style of dance?

What was your favourite routine?
Washed Away
What is your favourite memory?
My favourite memory was the first time our team made it into a dance off. (Princess Dance)
What are your plans for your Post-Secondary studies?
Aerospace engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University
What biggest lesson did dance bring you?
The biggest lesson dance has taught me is to give myself grace and keep showing up, even during difficult seasons. Life outside the studio can sometimes feel heavy, but I’ve learned that growth doesn’t always look perfect. What matters is continuing to try, learn, and support the people around you.
What is your main goal for the future?
My main goal for the future is to pursue aerospace engineering and continue growing into someone who is hardworking, resilient, and always willing to learn. Dance has taught me discipline and perseverance, and I hope to carry those lessons with me into whatever comes next.
What advice do you have to give to young dancers?
My advice to younger dancers is to work hard, stay confident, and enjoy every moment. The years go by quickly, so don’t spend too much time doubting yourself. Trust your growth and make the most of every opportunity.
