Three days. 10 incredible artists. SO many ways to move. 💃🏾✨

Our dancers are getting ready to train, explore, create, and be inspired by an amazing lineup of artists bringing their unique styles, experiences, and energy into the studio!

From Afro, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Improv, Tap, Conditioning & more, Dance Den is all about expanding our dancers’ movement vocabulary and challenging them to step outside their comfort zones.

Next up on Freestyle Fridays: Mackenzie Brown Mackenzie Brown is a dance teacher, choreographer, and performer currently studying Communications and Media at Wilfrid Laurier University. Alongside her studies, she is a member of the Wilfrid Laurier University Competitive Dance Team, where she continues to develop her artistry, athleticism, and passion for performance.
Having trained for over 15 years in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and other various styles, Mackenzie has cultivated a strong appreciation for both the technical and artistic sides of dance. Her training has been shaped by a variety of respected educators and programs, including AB Dance, SOL Dance Collective, OPUS Dance Collective, Ace Dance Theatre, and numerous competitive and intensive training opportunities.

As a teacher, Mackenzie is passionate about creating classes that challenge dancers while fostering confidence, creativity, and a genuine love of movement. With over four years of teaching experience and seven years of assisting, she enjoys helping dancers strengthen their technical foundations, particularly in turns, musicality, movement quality, and performance intention.

Whether teaching, choreographing, or performing, Mackenzie strives to create meaningful experiences that encourage dancers to grow both as artists and as individuals.

It’s that time of year!! Our season is almost over and it’s time to experience all the amazing guest artists that come to our Dance home and share their gifts with our dancers. Join us on Fridays for freestyle Friday every Friday. We have a different genre and a guest artist. This past Friday they had the pleasure of dancing with and doing Afro dance!
