✨ MEET JESSICA ✨
From starting dance at just 5 years old to now entering her 11th year of teaching, Jessica’s journey has always been rooted in a love for movement, performance, and education. 💕🩰
Trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, Jessica competed with Denise Lester Dance Academy before continuing her competitive career at university with Rise Dance Company, where she debuted her original choreography. This experience inspired her to begin teaching and sharing her passion with the next generation of dancers.
Today, Jessica teaches across Durham and the GTA and has received numerous awards and recognitions for her choreography. She is also an Associate Member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) in Ballet, successfully preparing students for both beginner and professional-level exams. 🌟
Beyond the studio, Jessica is an elementary school teacher with an Honours BA in Sociology from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa, and a Master of Education in Social Justice Education from OISE at the University of Toronto. 🎓
For Jessica, teaching dance is about so much more than movement—it’s about building confidence, empowering young people, and helping students shine both on and off the stage. ✨
We’re so lucky to have Jessica sharing her passion, experience, and heart with our dancers! 💗
