Dark Intrigue is one of four colourways being discontinued as I make room for the newest collection.

If you love your yarn on the darker, moodier side, this might be your last chance to add it to your stash.

One of my favourite things about fibre festivals isn't actually the yarn.

It's the people.
The familiar faces you look forward to seeing.
The people you only see at shows.
The new friends you make standing in line.
The conversations that start with “I LOVE that colour.”
The laughter.
The stories.
The connections.

There's a little bit of change happening around here. 👀

I'm getting ready for a brand new Sassy Strings collection that will make its debut at the 10th anniversary of Prairie Fibre Festival in Lacombe on September 12.

But before we make room for what's coming next, there are a few familiar faces that deserve a little love.

I need your help, Sassy friends! 🧶✨

I’m currently testing colours for our new fall collection and, if I’m being honest… they’re a little bit all over the place right now. 😂 Some are moody, some are earthy, some are richer and more saturated — and I’m trying to figure out where this collection wants to go.

So I’d LOVE to hear from YOU! 💛

When you think of Sassy Strings Yarn Studio, what colours come to mind?

✨ The countdown is on! Just a couple more days until the Stampede Pop-Up & Breakfast at Ancient Arts Yarn.

There is something special about gathering with fellow fibre lovers, sharing project stories, squishing beautiful yarn, and finding that perfect skein that simply has to come home with you.

I'll be bringing a selection of Sassy Strings Yarn Studio favourites, including yarn from the Petal Emporium, Moonlight Masquerade, and Weekend Getaway collections, along with stitch markers for knitters and crocheters. If you've been eyeing a particular colourway, this is a great opportunity to see it in person.
