Well,
It’s been 3 weeks since the “End Game” premiere, so there’s been enough time for those of you who wanted to see it to see it.
I’d just like to say that It’s been an incredible and fulfilling 9 years doing the Stark/IronMan thing! I’ve met so many amazing people during the development of the suit and the tech behind it, that I could not easily name them all. That said, a very special mention must go to the amazing Steve Hird who was not only a wellspring of information during pretty much the whole process, but became a very dear friend along the way.
Of course I also have to sincerely thank my family for putting up with my obsessive need to create the armour with as much practical technology that I was able to implement, as well as being my handlers and tech support for every single deployment. Louisa, Tristan and Lucas you all rock 3000! 🤘🏻
A few of the high points were of course the Comic Cons, partnering with SolarBotics and meeting and hanging out with Stan Lee, Helping to forge “Superheroes For Hope” with Dan McKim Sr., meeting my biggest fan: Cash during a major Cerebral Palsy race event, and of course all of the Children’s Hospital type events. I will cherish those moments always.
But as some of you may recall, I’ve always maintained that when RDJ was done with that role, that would be the cue for me to hang up the armour as well. RDJ’s poetic departure at the finale of “End Game” was exactly that.
I truly wish every last one of you all the best, and hope you all always have the courage to shoot for the stars for that 1 in 14,000,605 chance of discovering that thing that changes your life forever.
