The Mayday Club Youth Choir from British Columbia, Canada, is a professional children's choir that performs popular and classic songs in a variety of genres, that express their message of ending bullying and promoting equality for people with neurodiversities. We are so excited and grateful to release the 2nd single of our 10th anniversary celebration, Let It Be by the Beatles! This song really represents the diversity of our group, especially when you listen to the solos. Brayden Halldorson approached me and asked for a solo a year ago or more, and I was looking for a soloist to open this song, and his voice is absolutely perfect for it. He sings with so much emotion, has such a unique-sounding voice, and when we perform it live, people in the audience just go silent in awe listening to him. Next up is Emily Roberts who has a beautiful voice and is an amazing advocate for the neurodivergent and visually impaired communities. Finishing it off is Pepper-Anne (Tila Pelletier) who has been part of the choir for years, and has grown so much and also always leaves audiences in awe of her!! Straight up, the choir finds this song quite mid, because many of them prefer more upbeat songs or newer songs, but I think they absolutely nailed it every time they performed it and in this recording. Show them some love!!

In honor of ten years of promoting neurodiversity in the Fraser Valley, we are going to be releasing some new singles!!! Here is the first one!!! THIS IS WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE!!!!! This recording features the powerful voice of Jessica Cooper who is a fantastic public speaker and singer, and whose words have affected thousands of people as we have toured with this song. She customizes her speech for different audiences, to let them know that neurodiversity is a beautiful thing and that we are stronger together!!

We are going to be kicking off our TENTH (omg) season by publishing our new logo!! The original logo was thought of by me and designed by my sister Jenna Provost, as she was taking a course on Photoshop. It was inspired by the painting The Scream by Edvard Munch, because it conveyed the energy and noise and the taking up of space that I wanted the kids in our future program to experience. There have been a few versions of our logo over the years, because it was hard to fit the face and the text together. Again, had just basically done the best we could as kids with what we had and knew! This summer, we decided it was time for a glow up, and to have something more professional that represented what and who we are becoming, but still reflected our roots. We hired the most talented graphic designed, Jacinda, who is a recent graduate of UFV through the Canada Summer Jobs program, and she designed a logo that I adore, and as painful as it is to part with the OG, I feel like Jacinda's new design reflects who we are and where we came from.
