✨ Polo Brian is a Vancouver based rapper known for his energetic presence and one of one delivery. Polo set his sights on a career as a solo artist in 2016. Collaborating with acts such as Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Elijah Blond and BAINS. Polo has put his stamp on the Vancouver underground as one of the most exciting up and coming sensations.✨

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT – Kate Yahn
🎶 Performing July 25 @ 9pm 🎶

✨ Powerhouse vocals, striking stage presence, and heartbreaking melody’s are what make Kate Yahn a triple threat in Vancouver’s rock/pop scene. Having released a handful of singles, teasing listeners with her original music during appearances at Treefort Music Fest, Rifflandia, NXNE and while you may have yet to meet her, her 70s esque sound and soaring belts comfort us like the classics of Stevie Nicks and Carole King.

Reinventing the familiar, inspired by a decade known for expression and musical freedom, Yahn is embarking on a new journey influenced by the modern day, announcing her debut EP, to be released Fall 2024.

With the backdrop of her mid-twenties in tow, Yahn’s latest record is rooted in empowered vulnerability where the edge of rock and roll is met with the innocence of experiencing life’s many firsts. Navigating love, wild heartbreak, and identity, Yahn grapples with her coming of age, fighting to stay curious in a time where love needs revival.✨

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT – Nylez K
🎶 Performing July 25 @ 8pm 🎶

✨ The journey of NYLEZ K begins in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia. Neil K Pranjivan was born into a family who had an obsession for music, but it was the impact of his father who inspired him to become a male vocalist. By inheriting the sounds of Bollywood music at a very young age it taught him how to expand his kaleidoscopic range of emotion and depth that he uses in his music today.

Using YouTube’s platform catapulted Neil from making covers in his own bedroom, to redefining himself as an artist, and becoming NYLEZ K. In order to achieve this, he decided not to continue his mundane studies as an accountant, instead learned how to create music from the ground up. Inspired by the likes of Drake and The Weeknd he connects with his audience through the use of dark tones and trap rhythm, swaying them with harmonious melodies, and engaging them with his dynamic lyrical flow. 2018 is where he exemplified this work by the release of his first single “2Myself” followed by “Remind Me” later that year and headlining his own show downtown Vancouver in 2019.

Entering the next phase as a refined producer, singer-songwriter, and engineer, NYLEZ K is ready to embark on a new journey, to show his true potential.✨

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT – Oleefia
🎶 Performing July 25 @ 7pm 🎶

✨ Oleefia is a half English half American singer-songwriter who moved to Abbotsford in 2020. A pianist and music fanatic from a very young age, she was raised in many different countries & cultures. Music was one of the few constant joys that brought peace and stability to an ever-changing nomadic lifestyle. Oleefia takes inspiration from nature, memories & her family and blends it to create whimsical, haunting, nostalgic & honest melodies.✨

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT – Lil_Babeee_4EVA
🎶 Performing July 18 @ 10pm 🎶
After Dark at Townhall Abbotsford 🌚

✨ Vancouver musician Maarten Bayliss has been active for nearly a decade, focusing on two major projects since 2020. In April 2020, he launched the debut Jackson Ramsey album ‘Identity Thief,’ which was intended to be performed live with drummer Stellan Nundoo but was delayed by global events. By September 2020, Bayliss introduced his solo electronic project Lil_Babeee_4EVA with the single ‘Bengal.’ This project saw further releases, including the ‘June EP’ in June 2021 and the full-length album ‘White Noise Machine’ in November 2021, which received positive acclaim and featured on Bandcamp’s front page.

Following the 2022 album ‘Horror Movie Dance Party,’ Bayliss released ‘Comfier,’ an ambient album blending lush sounds and vocal samples. Tracks from both albums were created simultaneously, resulting in distinct spooky or ethereal themes. Beyond his solo work, Bayliss has composed music for Nike, The New York Times, and various films, and has performed with artists like Cindy Lee. His remixes include works by HUMANS and Rosemary Fairweather, earning him support from outlets like CITR and ThrdCoast Blog. Known for his unique style and persona, Lil_Babeee_4EVA balances light and dark tones, making his work both captivating and chilling.✨
